DO I NEED INSURANCE?
We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance. Trip insurance offers you protection if you have to cancel or interrupt your cruise due to your, a traveling companion’s, or an immediate family member’s sickness, injury, or death. This covered reason is one among many listed under the Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage included with the plan.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE ON THE SAME PLAN?
Each plan can insure up to 10 travelers.
IS THERE COVERAGE FOR A TERRORIST ACT?
Yes, the insurance plan includes coverage for a Terrorist Act that occurs in your departure city or in a city to which you are scheduled to travel while on your trip. This coverage is available provided the act occurs within 30 days of your scheduled departure date and provided the city hasn’t experienced a Terrorist Act in the 30 days prior to your coverage effective date.
IS THERE COVERAGE FOR LOST, DAMAGED, STOLEN, OR DELAYED BAGGAGE?
Yes, under the Baggage Coverage, the plan provides coverage for loss, theft, or damage to your baggage and covered personal effects during your covered trip.
The Baggage Delay coverage provides reimbursement for the purchase of necessary items if baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours during your covered trip.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE COVERED REASONS FOR CANCELLATION OR INTERRUPTION?
Some examples of covered reasons for trip cancellation or interruption include sickness, injury or death of you, a family member, or traveling companion; a documented traffic accident en route to departure on your trip; involuntary termination of employment or layoff; mandatory evacuation; terrorism; and your home made uninhabitable by hurricane or other natural disaster.

- Insured’s or Traveling Companion’s Spouse
- Insured’s, Traveling Companion’s or Spouse’s: child; parent; sibling; grandparent, great-grandparent, grandchild or great-grandchild; step-parent, step-child or step-sibling; son-in-law or daughter-in-law; brother-in-law or sister-in-law; aunt or uncle; niece or nephew; legal guardian; foster child or legal ward.
